In 1986, Mr. Rahim Afshar and his brothers founded and named the company after their father. Originally an importation company, they operated out of a small office above the family’s ‘Kabir Shop’ on Southampton’s London Road.

By 2003, had the majority share of the gift market in the UK and became available around the world in 68 countries.

2010 saw the opening of ’s new offices in Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire, featuring a tasting room and carefully curated museum.

Today, under the vision and guidance of Chairman Mr. Rahim Afshar and his brothers Karim and Ebraham, continues to grow. With a focus on innovation and the highest standards in quality, products are now sold internationally in over 80 countries.

Always use freshly drawn water. Water which has previously been boiled will have become de-oxygenated and will not produce a good liquid. If possible, the water should be filtered to remove the chlorine and other additives that affect the taste. Heat water to the temperature recommended for your using an electric hot water heater or a stovetop kettle.
